"I give my full endorsement to Sally Lorberbaum for re-election to the Mendota Heights City Council for a second term. Sally has been an effective and responsive Council Member over the last four years. Sally shows up! She meets with residents, visits sites and does her own research to help make better decisions for our community. For instance, during the recent cell tower application discussion, she met with neighbors, to existing cell phone sites, and had conversations with “small cell” providers to look for alternative solutions and an existing cell tower provider to discuss tower maintenance and noise. Her interest is in both what is desired by the applicant and right for our community.
Sally demonstrates her continuing commitment to the city through her successful work on behalf of residents advocating for our city’s careful, prudent development; researching proposals for the city; and listening to residents’ thoughts on issues. Her commitment is “to make a positive difference in peoples’ lives.” Sally looks at short term costs vs. long term investments and makes financial decisions based on needs vs. wants. This is the kind of experience, fiscal conservatism, and leadership we need to continue making our beautiful city what we want it to be.
